As an addict and quitter of WoW, I will be writing my quitting review. Yes, I seriously quit.
Graphics: 8.5/10
Not everyone's cup of tea, it's slightly real-world with a hint of cartoon. It's not anime style but it's the American equivalent. Basically the graphics were really nice and detailed but some didn't like the style, I think they were wonderful for an MMO and the fact that my computer could still run it really smoothly was amazing.
Storyline: 8/10
Most MMOs don't have a storyline but WoW is unique in that they wrote an MMO off a pre-existing story, and the user can actually know what they are a part of and actually imagine it as a real time strategy where you're controlling the character, mostly in Alterac Valley (One of the most fun things in the game... 40v40 pvp madness, especially when you got stuck and neither side could beat eachother.... masses of people slaughtering eachother for an hour.... really fun) but that leads me into PvP
PvP: 10/10
By far the most wonderful PvP in any game. Most users are getting angry saying the game isn't really based on pvp but play any other MMO and you know that's not true. WoWs pvp is basically like playing rakion, but with like 20 more attacks/etc. and so many more possibilities (terrain etc.). If you want to see videos of how it looks if you haven't played WoW check google video or youtube for WoW videos (especially alterac valley)
Gameplay/World/Quests/Etc.: 10/10
Definitely heavily based on fun. It was easy to throw a party together and it was easy to solo grind (unlike FFXI which the only mobs you could kill were 5 levels or more lower than you, and it took 20 hours to level once unless you had a parfect party), and there were unlimited quests and fun quirks in the game like potions that turned you mini or into a skeleton or a pirate. It owned.
Endgame: 5/10
I never actually did endgame much. Basically it was a pain in the ass, you had to get 20-40 people together at the same time and on vent and they ALL had to know wtf they were doing and it wasn't that fun. It was just like any other dungeon except much ahrder to get a party together and there was much more drama and elitists on your ass
Community: 3/10
Since WoW appeals to the masses, and the masses are retarded, the community was terrible. Most people could not type worth a shit and more importantly didn't care or didn't know wtf was going on. Most level 60s were elitist nerds who just told you how bad you were every 2 seconds and, I don't know, you'll find a better community on any anime-based MMO. RO had one of the best communities in a game ever in that even the people who couldn't type were polite (usually) and not annoying. Man I miss RO, I can hardly wait for RO2 (should be coming out in like 6 months or so)
Replay: 7/10
Playing a new character was great, it was like a whole new game. The only problem is all the quests are the same and all the dungeons are the same so it was kind of like "eh... I don't really wanna do the same thing again". Most of all the pvp at low levels sucks so it's like boring.
Overall: 85%
Good game for the masses, easy to pick up, get somewhere, and log off. Built for the extremely repetetive gamer as well as the casual gamer in that it wasn't boring for a low level and super grinders had something to do after they reached 60 in a week. The only problem was casual or semi-casual (like me... you might think that's not true but I'm not into the whole sit around for 6 hours 5 times a week without getting anything done business. I play alot of video games but I play to have fun and not get owned by a bunch of elitist faggots yelling at me) gamer, in that once you reach 60 there's nothing to do if you don't want to raid (20-40 man dungeon groups as I explained)
Not worth the money, but worth a play.
