I am getting bored in school now that I finished my X-mas books...someone give me ideas of what to read... I may start the Wheel of Time, but it seems a little daunting.

Sword of Truth Series is good, but daunting like wheel of time. If you like fantasy novels something good and quick to read is the Drizzt series (three books, "Homeland", "Exile", and "Sojourn") which is really good. Also a really good book is The Talisman, by Stephen King and Peter Straub, which is my favorite book of all time.

I've kinda read almost all of Salvatore's books, but I may check out The Talisman. Thanks for the advice.

Im reading this new series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin. It won lots of awards, so I started reading the first, A Game of Thrones, and it is awesome so far: Yeah, that includes surviving 500k and x9 lives...

Nice, what a classy way to show off your geometry war score. It was so subtle and in the background that I barely noticed it behind the book.
Nice use of MS paint though.

Ag, now I'm at that magical point where I easily survive about 300,000 and then die pretty much constantly finishing with about 400,000 each time.

If anyone is interested in my geometry wars ramblings:
I have all the achievements except survive a million and x10 multiplier, now. What I do is listen to classical music, and never physically move (that totally messes you up). Even when you die, most often you subconsciously want to scratch your head or something...try not to. Also dint freak out when you die. I have wasted lives before 150k and still gone over a million in the same game. If you get angry you typically just lose concentration, and thats why the classical music helps. It helps you focus and not get all worked up. What I learned is there is no real strategy to surviving, you just have to know how to deal with any situation of enemies, and be quick. Sometimes moving works, sometimes holding still will save you (snake enemies) You just gotta know your limits and practice on them. Try practicing by getting the x9 bomb achievement. If you play without using bombs, you'll get better. You wont get a high score, but you will understand the enemies more. Also what I do from time to time is play by changing the controls so both movement and fire is with the right stick. This means you constantly shoot ahead of yourself as you move, and it makes for some interesting skill building. This is just what I think. This gets me past one million, but I am still trying to survive it. So I'm open to any other ideas.
