now comes the hardest part... assembly! Just make sure you have no static electricity going on when you assemble it because that can fry stuff. And apparently vista sucks to boot up in and its reccommended to boot up xp i guess then upgrade. Whatevs its exciting you pc look pimp!

Yeah man, everything I know about Vista tells me that's it's a jerk to deal with. I say that Vista can bring it. As the only tech savvy person in my house I'm been beating down Microsoft OS problems since I was 4. Actually... I think I had a Mac when I was 4... Don't tell anyone though. I played some weird game on it that involved shooting stuff with arrows. Also I played some complicated submarine game that I didn't understand at all and always lost in a matter of minutes. The best part about that computer though was that when you put a file in the trash, this Oscar the grouch-like thing popped out and sang Ï Loveeeee trash." That's when I learned my first computer thing: how to make files. After throwing away a few of my mom's important files she taught me how to open and save word processing documents so I could make my own trash for Oscar. In my eyes, that was the greatest thing Mac ever did.
But I digress...
Yeah, I do need a carrot and an anti-static wrist band thing.
Some of my parts should be coming tommorow so if you come to my house you can check out my awesome monitor, speakers, and power supply! Exciting stuff!

it's still prolly better to start up with straight vista, cause doing the upgrade thing slows down your speeds cause of leftover xp junk (it's slight, but why waste processing power)...a clean vista install is porbably better

Just make sure you touch your hand to the power source when doing anything to ground yourself.

Milwaukee pc gave me cable for free and i finished computer. She works! Kept crashing so I had to manually adjust memory timings.. found the happy setting and now it works super cool. Gonna install quake 4 but I gotta manually transfer teh patch because it's not hooked up to the net... Hope it works.
