It's true. I mean, come on, they have to be doing something right. If they weren't, then this thread would be called, "The fall of the mac". which has yet to happpen.
At least not until Steve leaves.
Then who knows.

Well, Microsoft rapes consumers. But mac is too expensive and pretentious for most people to get raped by them. I mean, those mac commercials...c'mon... And linux is shady. Thomas and I talked about this yesterday. Nintendo should make its own line of home computers. Thats the only company that is pro.

-Once, when I was sleeping, Linux touched me inappropriately. -Once, when I was out to eat, Microsoft rolled me over with it's giant MicroDozerâ„¢. -Once, when I was on the streets, Mac stole my wallet, took all the money out, burned it all with their lighter, peed on it, gave me a 2 year white PC, and told me I was cool.

Obnoxiously trendy? Yeah. Too much money? Probably. But, Apple makes great multimedia software and the Mac OS is simple and elegant. There's a reason that Apple has such a large amount of pretentious customers and that is because most of those customers happen to be total computer n00bs. Still, nothing beats iMovie.

I think the major thing that shys people away from macs is the lack of software. People like to stick with familiar software and microsoft can give them that.
I do have to say though Macs are bullet proof. I mean have you ever heard of a Unix virus? If you have thats funny because I havent.

Ehn, macs are really nice for doing pretty much anything that isn't gaming. In fact I have to work on my computer project in school because I don't have nice software for making diagrams and stuff, although I could find some.
