Explains how this processor/mobo combo team up to make one monster of an overclock at a consistent 3.2GHz+ (dual core)
I also read this guys post on newegg (under the comments on this mobo) who has the combo and a system similar to mine (almost the exact same) and he is overclocking at a consistent 3.5 GHz (dual core!)
I think this is pretty good build, and if someone already had a monitor or a free upgrade to vista, it would be hundreds cheaper.
Damn thats one hell of a overclock. I hope he fries his shyat for being so 1337. He must need a propeller to cool that thing. I need to find it and fook with the heat sync. Anyway thats one hefty system. I dont think the Vista upgrade is good but thats just me. I dont trust vista yet. I would also suggest maybe going for 3 or 4 GB of RAM for max performance if your going to go with Vista for gaming. I know thats alot and thats why I also dont like vista. It seems as the machines havent caught up to the OS yet.
